🌿 This blend is prepared with key emollients (skin-softening/soothing ingredients) and botanicals to help soothe, condition, nourish, and heal. Our formulations are created to be non-comedogenic (non-pore-clogging) while also producing skin-balancing and moisture-locking effects.

🌿 This product is fragrance-free; however, you will notice a subtly sweet, herbal aroma due to the natural oils and botanicals used.

Marshmallow Root- Improves skin moisture retention while soothing redness and inflammation.
Chamomile & Calendula Flowers– Anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antimicrobial.

Our Baby Apothecary Product line is formulated using gentle botanicals that have proven to soothe, nourish, and relieve dry skin symptoms. Baby skin is extremely thin and permeable. Believe it or not, when born, your little one’s skin is 3-5 times thinner than yours! Their little bodies are more vulnerable to absorbing ingredients from topical products into their systems, so, as parents, we need to be very diligent about what we use.

The truth is, less is more, especially for babies younger than three months of age. Many times, their skin will be dry, bumpy, and flakey. These symptoms happen as their bodies are hydrating and their skin barrier is improving. It’s important not to overdo it when it comes to your baby’s skincare routine.

Another key factor to be aware of is PH. The PH of your baby’s skin is close to neutral; that’s where we want to keep it. Therefore, avoid standard soaps, which are alkaline, and any acidic topical products.

🌿We formulate our shampoo and body bars to be between 5.5-6 for babies to maintain the healthy PH levels their skin & scalp require.

🌿Any baby product that contains pure essential oils is formulated using less than 0.5%. However, please get in touch with your pediatrician if you have any concerns before use.

🌿Our products are 100% plant-based and free of all chemicals you want to avoid (sulfates, parabens, petroleum, PEGS, to name a few).

Store the product in a dry, cool area out of direct sunlight, and do not introduce water into the product.

DIRECTIONS: Pump a small amount of product into your hands or directly onto the baby’s skin and massage until absorbed. It is always best practice to apply products to skin that has been cleansed.
